When the Ipswich branch of ulysses was proposed in March 2012, we needed a website to inform the members about rides and meetings.

"Howza" created a website "P.U.B." (Proposed Ulysses Branch) where we could see what was happening. Meetings and rides.

When we officially became a branch in October 2012, "Howza" created this website. (ipswichulysses.com)

He remained webmaster until the day he rode on.

About his past

Konrad was born in a small East German town, Possneck.

When he was three years old, he and his family moved to France.

After living in France for ten years, they moved back to Germany due to homesickness.

When Konrad was 15 years old, his family decided to immigrate to Australia and after sailing for six weeks on the ocean-liner; Catel Felice, they were housed in a migrant centre near Albury Wodonga.

They then moved into Wacol Migrant Centre in Queensland.

In 1969 Konrad met his life-long partner Christine #53004 to whom he was married until he rode on.

From 1968 till 1994, Konrad worked for PMG (Postmaster General) which changed name to Telecom and then Telstra.
