Hi Guys, can we please remember that we need to respect other members of the Branch. Couple of instances recently that don't sit well with me and hopefully are 'one off's'.

From Gatton Branch

Posted by Peter (Chopper) on February 1, 2021 at 7:35 PM Comments comments (0)

G’day all

As was mentioned at the last SEQ Presidents Meeting , I have been working on an odyssey for the near future.

Well I have a destination in mind Taroom QLD and the Dates are 2nd 3rd and 4th of April 2021 ( yes Easter long weekend )if we went to WA we would be away then.

I can secure the showground for the dates so all can camp together and caravans and motorhomes can also be involved.

The destination is 400klms from Brisbane city in the banana shire via Toowoomba and Miles or 643klms via Gympie for those wanting a longer run.

There is hard bed accommodations available. A local IGA and a Food-works for food and one local pub I’m looking into local entertainment at the moment. We could ruin some entertaining games and activites.

What is needed at this point in time is an indication of interested members from each branch.

Let’s make this a return to normal odyssey.

If you could get back to me a soon as possible it would be appreciated

Jay Leno - a word from a sponsor

For the past 10 years, Jay Leno and his detailing team have worked hand-in-hand with product engineers to develop a full range of detailing products, that are now available in Australia.

The products stand the test of concourse-level judgment, yet are easy to use and its the first time Jay has put his name to any brand.

Ulysses Club members get a 15% discount online when you use the code 'ULYSSES' and orders will be delivered to your door.

From Lockyer Branch

It is with a heavy heart that the Lockyer Branch of the Ulysses Club Inc. have chosen to postpone the 24th Annual Ipswich Toy Run until December 2021. This is due to the current COVID-19 situation and the uncertainty in the near future.

If you have been collecting toys and other goods for the Toy Run, please consider donating them directly to your local Salvation Army Corp.

Prime West Brassall Shopping Centre will still put out the collection bins in the run up to Christmas to take public donations for the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.

Thank you to the biking community and the general Ipswich public for your support over the years and we look forward seeing you in 2021.
