Hi all, most of you who were on the coffee ride today would know that our fearless leader has broken his left ankle quite serverely, and is preasently in the Ipswich hospital, all I can say is that I'm glad I don't play the game, it seems very dangerous, I'll stick to bike riding.

I've been waiting for weeks for the new issue of the riding on to be available on line.... and now I wish it hadn't arrived.
Unfortunately the Winter Edition of the Riding On does not have Konrad's Eulogy published.

"Rocky" Bob Keevers pased away early this morning.
People from the Ipswich branch may not have seen much of him, but he was a very important person for Ulysses in this region as he was co-founder of the Lockyer branch all theese years ago.
May he rest in peace.

it was Howza's wish that he be escorted to his resting place by a group of bikers who he loved and loved him in return.
I am asking all interested riders and pillions to meet at our host venue Tuesday 21 March 12:45 pm ready to leave at 1:15 pm.
Amanda from Caring Angels Funerals will bring Kon to the clubhouse and we will follow Kon out to Warril View.

It is with an extremely heavy and sad heart that we let you know that Konrad "Howza" Walters passed away today 13/3/2017.
Please keep Christine and family in your thoughts and give Christine time to grieve for the loss of her soul mate and best friend. We are sure when Christine is able she will read your kind wishes on Konrad's beloved website.

Some of you may know Julie Vidler (aka Xena). Her husband Mark Nichol (aka Skid mark) passed away last Monday. Marks funeral will be held next Tuesday 18th October, at the Centenary Memorial Gardens at 1 pm (353 Wacol Station Road, Sumner, Queensland).

Just to let people know , David Dennison (Wrangler) is in hospitL after having a heart attack on friday night. He is resting comfortably, but will be transported to the PA, tomorrow for further tests. I will keep you informed of his progress.

As you know, the Inter branch BBQ is on this Sunday and we need numbers if we are to feed the masses.

Christmas is fast approaching and so is our Christmas party (19 December). Well had my second last chemo on friday just gone, one more to go, yay :D.

Well I went to the hospital this morning to get my results, and although it took some added tests to discover, I have a low grade lymphoma. Within the next 2 weeks I will attend the PA hospital to start the ball rolling for the lead up to treatment, which at this stage is undecided but will most likely be radiation therapy.
