Posted by Ado on April 17, 2017 at 8:20 PM

Good Morning All. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter break. This Saturday 22nd is the Focus on Youth ride. We are leaving Maccas Yamanto at 9.30am to ride to Seventeen Mile Rocks. We will meet up with the pillions to be, and either follow tbe bus or lead the bus to Cormorant Bay at Wivenhoe Dam. We will give rides to them around the circut up there and then have a BBQ supplied by the young adults. I would like sone indication of the number of bikes I can expect so if you can rxt me on 0433874512. I recieved a call from Vera tonight to say there is 3 esons who wish to have a ride in a sidecar and 14 others who want to go pillion. We will struggle to have a sidecar up there so if you have a friend who has an outfit or a trike could you please beg them to come along.

I have about 14 members who have indicated they can help including Peter who has the chair. This should be enough to give them the rides of their lives. Thanks to those who have volunteered their time. I will let Vera know for catering purposes. Cheers. Ado

There predicting the odd shower, but I sure we'll be fine. I looked up there web page so I see its for youth, I guess teenagers, I can only put someone on the back under 70kgs any heavier than that is a bity iffy due to the lightness of my bike and me, I'll still take part as best I can. See ya on Saturday.

A big thankyou to all who turned up and made it a great day for everyone. Yes the skies didnt look too inviting to start with but the sun came out and I had a very enjoyable day. The Ulysses Club was a winner on the day as well as those who came along to taste their first ride on a motorbike.
